Brief Biography of Yoshika Fujita (1929–1999)
・1929: Born in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.
・1949: Studied Western painting under Minoru Matsuda in Kurume.
・1955: Graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Art.
・1962–1966: Studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Spain, copying classical paintings by artists such as Bosch.
・1970: Received the 13th Yasui Award for his work "Haruki Banka."
・1981: Awarded the 1st Saburō Miyamoto Prize for his painting "Peony."​

Houses several of Fujita's works, including "蓮池荷風 (Hasuike Kafu)" (1974), an oil painting on canvas measuring 162.2 × 391.5 cm. ​
