Brief Biography of Kaoru Yamaguchi (1907–1968)
・1907: Born in Gunma Prefecture, Japan.
・1930: Graduated from the Tokyo School of Fine Arts (now Tokyo University of the Arts); subsequently studied in France for three years.
・1937: Co-founded the Free Artists Association (Jiyū Bijutsuka Kyōkai), contributing to the modernization of Japanese Western-style painting.
